So, the next couple weeks are gonna suck. Bad. The amount of work I have on my plate right now is overwhelming and it's becoming more and more difficult to calm myself, take a breather, and continue throughout my day. I keep having to remind myself of my stress busters and move forward, one step at a time. As the days pass and I struggle through my privileged life, I want to take at least a moment to remind myself of the things I'm thankful for. The things in life that seem so grim are really just minute, forgettable experiences in the grand scheme of life. But the remarkable thing is that it's the seemingly infinitesimal things in life that generate the biggest, and greatest impact.

Some of the good, little things I'm thankful for:
- This Carven coat (the same coat but in gray is linked above). I got it on an amazing sale - picked it up for less than $200 and it feels like luxury. Do you like luxury? Jaguar. Also, this coat kind of exemplifies the whole "good in the details" mantra. The button details and unique funnel neck are gorgeous and there are slits in the front that unbutton so the coat can be worn as a cape. Love.
- I had a peanut butter banana smoothie for breakfast this morning and it was awesome and kept me full for hours.
- I finally took the time to put away my laundry so tonight I can stretch out while I sleep.
- I spoke to my pops yesterday.
- I finished Scandal and disliked it just enough to not need to watch it anymore. (I can't handle another distraction right now.)
- I have a great guy, my best friend, and even though long-distance sucks, it's an amazing feeling to know I'm never alone.
