I've already mentioned this before, but my boyfriend and I have been long distance for quite some time. About 9 months, actually. Now that I've finished school and I'm back in LA, we've finally been able to take the "long distance" out of our relationship and I couldn't be happier. Better yet, we were able to celebrate our one year anniversary! Quite the milestone. We were able to spend the day doing the simple things we loved. No need for presents or extravagant gestures. We simply had a quiet understanding that we just wanted to be together. It was everything I wanted.

We started the day off on the perfect note - a hike in Franklin Canyon Park.

Followed by the farmer's market. Some of our bounty, below.

Satisfied our tummies with some Japanese BBQ. Ohh yeahhh... Then, food coma set in.

We also recreated our first date and opted for dinner at the restaurant where it all started. How far we've come in only one year. Looking back at it all makes me that much more excited for the future.

And last, but not least, we returned home and watched The Bachelorette. Haha! I'd say it was a perfect day.
